Hey I’m Jay Stephen - a multidisciplinary creative from London.

I work with brands to communicate their story and message across a variety of disciplines including; creative strategy, branding, design, art direction, interiors and film.

I started my career 12 years ago as a graphic designer predominately creating spaces for retail and hospitality. I led branding projects for clients such Arsenal FC, TfL, Pure Gym, Odeon and Nissan. Working with these clients from initial strategy workshops through to final implementation has given me a wide range of skills needed to tell brand stories across the full creative process.

For the past 5 years I’ve been freelance as a Designer and Art Director. I regularly contract at agencies such as Pentland, Co-Studio Arts and Gung Ho for global clients like Speedo, Marriott and Berghaus. I also work directly with smaller start-ups launching new brands such as Truman’s Social Club and FWD:Coffee.

Alongside my design career, I direct film under the moniker 'The Romantix'. My films have been awarded Vimeo Staff Picks and have been nominated for multiple BAFTA qualifying festivals. I was one of the Directors on last years award winning Channel 4 Idents conceptualising and directing two spots within them. My latest short film, Brown Brit, recently won Silver at The Young Director Award in Cannes.
